Teaching plan of Secondary Education
- ADDRESSED TO: 2nd year of secondary education (13-14 years old). A duration of 8-20 hours is proposed.
- PILOT EXPERIENCE IN 2013-14: Elkar Hezi (Oñati) - Uzturpe (Ibarra).

- AIMS: To understand and analyse, from a critical point of view, the linear model of our economy; as well as to realise the social and environmental impact of the Take-Make-Dispose industrial processes.
- METHODOLOGY: The teaching plan searches to contribute to the basic competences defined in the Basque Curriculum.
A holistic and comprehensive approach has been used, which allows to work the different activities in several subjets.
The project-based methodology supports a teaching-learning process led by the student, which will carry out practical and real life-orientated activities, in small and cooperative groups.
Starting point: Waste = Resources
The sparting point is the principle Waste = Resources,. In the Nature, the cycles of the matter are closed, while in our society are linear: Take-Make-Dispose.
